Migros

Migros, the pioneer of the modern retail industry in Turkey, today has a wide range of uses such as stationery, glassware, white goods, books and apparel, as well as food and necessities. Migros has a total of 2,470 stores and 26,779 employees in Turkey.

The Challenge

It is important to ensure order and efficiency in the working order of large institutions. It was aimed to reduce the chaos to zero in the area sharing. Emphasis was placed on sharing productive and need-oriented workspaces. Migros, which was previously squeezed between offices and had to rely heavily on its management team to manage space allocation and reservations, found the perfect opportunity to combine its meeting room reservation system with a new digital solution from Bookreen.

“I am pleased to hear from our staff that they can now book meeting rooms much more easily and quickly with the Bookreen Meeting Room Booking System. They have a good overview of the rooms on all floors and enjoy the ease of booking. The time saved on booking meeting rooms can now be put into innovating brands. The solution is very well received and has been fully embraced by all.”

– Migros, Head of Project

The Solution

Bookreen’s meeting room booking solution was implemented in the new office and gave Migros the ability to control every aspect of the meeting protocol from a single piece of software; a particular benefit was the ease of deployment and user acceptance. A key requirement was for Bookreen to manage the entire infrastructure, which fitted perfectly with Migros’s needs. The usage status and density of the areas have been made instantly learnable.

In addition, the new meeting rooms were equipped with Bookreen’s advanced meeting room touchscreens, which provide an attractive way for staff to see at a glance which rooms are occupied: a crucial feature when the meeting rooms are spread across four different floors of the building.
